- STOP & stay calm – Do NOT admit fault at the scene
- Check you are not injured
- Call 999 in an emergency
- If safe to do so pull in off the road or a lay by
- Turn off Engine
- Turn Hazards on
- If you have a warning triangle use this 30m behind the vehicle / truck
- Call the office and follow details below
- Collect other drivers details

o Full name and address
o Number plate
o Insurance documents
o Vehicle make and model and colour
o Take photos

- Photos of

o Road conditions
o Their car from all angles.
o Any damage
o Traffic signs
o Skid marks if any
o If theres multiple people in the car you need a photo of them if possible

- Record time and location
- Write down details of what happened on the below form
